Looe- East and West Looe are joined by a Victorian seven-arched bridge, a holiday resort of character, with several beaches, a bustling quayside with a unique Banjo Pier. Looe offers good bathing, river and sea trips including shark fishing.

The Looe Valley Line was built to replace the Canal between Liskeard  and Looe. The line originally served the mining and quarrying district of SE Bodmin Moor. Passenger traffic was introduced in 1879 and in 1902 the line was connected to the main line.
